Babbitt Cast Iron Chainwheel

Overview

Babbitt Standard Chainwheels have high grade cast iron rims and malleable iron guide arms. Chainwheels are available in a solid hub design for direct attachment to valve stem or gearbox stem. All chainwheels except solid hubs are furnished complete with standard plated carbon steel or 316 stainless steel attachment sets. Hammer-Blow units to operate high pressure valves are provided in ductile iron. Babbitt recommends use of hot dipped galvanized, 304 stainless steel and spark resistant brass lock-link chain.
