Asco 8040 2-way Solenoid Valve

Overview

The solenoid is an electromagnetic part of a valve, comprised of a coil, coretube, core and enclosure. ASCO Redhat brand offers the worlds largest selection of 2, 3 and 4 way solenoid valves designed to handle the most demanding fluid control applications.

In a 2-way valve, one inlet and one outlet are used to permit and shut off fluid flow. The two types of operations are ”normally closed” and ”normally open”.

The 8040 series is for high flow / low pressure and is available in connection sizes from 1/8” - 3/8”. It is a direct acting valve available only in a normally closed construction with AC operation in a light weight aluminum body. It is ideal for applications that demand high flows at low pressure.
