Asco 8221 2-way Solenoid Valve

Overview

The solenoid is an electromagnetic part of a valve, comprised of a coil, coretube, core and enclosure. ASCO Redhat brand offers the worlds largest selection of 2, 3 and 4 way solenoid valves designed to handle the most demanding fluid control applications.

In a 2-way valve, one inlet and one outlet are used to permit and shut off fluid flow. The two types of operations are ”normally closed” and ”normally open”.

The 8221 Series is a slow closing, anti-water hammer valve available in 3/8”-2 1/2” connection sizes. It is a pilot operated solenoid valve available in either normally open or normally closed construction with either AC or DC operated brass bodies. It is designed to effectively reduce damage caused by water hammer.
