Gears are milled, hardened and ground to assure maximum efficiency (up to 94%), minimum noise and heat generation
High capacity anti-friction bearings for optimum load carrying capacity and long life
Captured keys on input and output shafts
Gearcases made of high strength gray cast iron, SAE Class 30
High cross-section modulus design with stiffening webs for maximum rigidity
S-Series reducers are continuous duty at rated thermal capacity, based on ratio and input speed
Center tapped holes on output shafts
Double output seal design consisting of patented bi-helix inner seal made of Viton® and double-lip Nitrile (Buna-N) outer seal*
