Level Control Instrumentation

Robertshaw offers RF capacitance level control technology for virtually any substance in any type of vessel. Solid state, digital designs offer on/off and continuous level measuring in all types of vessels. Their cutting edge level instrumentation can accurately measure conductive and non-conductive liquids and granular materials.

Our microprocessor based instruments feature patented PFM (Pulse Frequency Modulation) transmitter technology. With this technology, the transmitters convert the probe signal to a variable period digital pulse output. These pulses are transmitted via two ordinary wires (up to one mile transmission capability) to the microprocessor controller. The microprocessor manipulates the pulses and provides a 4-20 ma DC signal, relay actuation for alarm, or both, depending on the particular model. No primary power lines are required as the unit is powered by the same two wires that transmit the pulse to the controller. Set point data is easily entered via a simple toggle switch, push button, or keypad (depending on model), thereby eliminating the need for tools and providing consistent results regardless of operator skill. Robertshaw level instrumentation accurately gauges liquids, powders, granular, lump and flake materials.

Vibration Monitors

Robertshaw vibration switches and monitors minimize production shut down time and repair costs by measuring the total accelerated force (shock) present on a machine. Individual acceleration measurements are summed to yield the total destructive force acting on a machine. This information enables you to proactively and strategically maintain equipment. Our vibration models range from the standard traditional to new technologically enhanced models. All provide unsurpassed dependability and include application specific models.

Pneumatically operated 368 Vibraswitch is the most cost effective method of avoiding damage due to malfunction in rotating and reciprocating machinery.
The 365 and 366 series Vibraswitch malfunction detectors provide maximum protection for large motors, pumps, compressors and other rotating or reciprocating equipment. FM and CAS certified models are offered. Microprocessor based supervisory control systems are also offered for enhanced capabilities.

Velocity acceleration vibration monitors are also offered in a number of different models for a wide range of application needs.

Wireless Monitoring

Centron is a wireless monitoring system operating in the 900 MHz. This system permits you to monitor virtually any function in your plant which operates on dry contact closure or a 4-20 ma signal. The beauty of the system is no hard wiring of sensors which is usually the most expensive cost in the installation. A system can be configured for most any application.

Control Valves and Temperature Regulators

Using the power generated from the process, Robertshaw self– actuated regulators are simple, complete control units built to the highest quality specifications to assure satisfactory service for many years.

Our pressure regulators include powerful 2-ply bellows or rugged diaphragm actuators that provide control for pressure reducing, pressure relief, and vacuum control. Robertshaw temperature regulators are available with any of three sizes of seamless metal bellows actuators to ensure the correct combination of power, response speed and stability.

Robertshaw also offers a complete range of air operated control valves for virtually any process application. Air operated control valves are also offered with pilot positioners for for precise control of large flows and other similar demanding applications. Valves are offered in sizes up to 6”.
