Miura Steam and Hot Water Boilers
Save space and fuel with a high efficiency Miura steam or hot water boiler. Miura boilers are based on a state of the art Japanese design and built in North America to comply with all codes and standards. Miura boilers are offered in sizes to 300 HP and available with low NOx burners to meet current emission requirements. Boilers consume at least 50% less floor space than comparable other brands and styles of boilers making them perfect for retrofit type installations.Miura Boilers are capable of coming to full steam pressure in less than five minutes. This ability to produce steam on demand combined with a modular concept means that you can customize your boiler room to meet your facility load demands. A once through flow boiler design with a standard stack economizer provides for fuel to steam efficiency of 85%. Boilers are provided with state of the art electronic controllers for completely automatic operation with no boiler room attendant required.
For multiple boiler installations, Miura offers the MI PLC based controller to automatically turn on or off boilers as required to meet your load demand. This feature combined with the ability to make full steam pressure in five minutes means that 85% efficiency is maintained from 10% of the total boiler HP to full load. As an example, a boiler room made up of four 300 HP boilers capable of 1200 HP total output will maintain 85% efficiency from 30 HP to 1200 HP. No other boiler made can begin to match this level of efficiency.
With the addition of a phone line to your boiler room, Miura Boilers can be monitored from a remote location for operation, setting of operating parameters, and complete diagnostics. This state of the art system is the electronic equivalent of a boiler operator watching your boiler every second of the year and providing a complete log of all operations.
