Robertshaw Level ControlsA complete range of single and multipoint level controls are offered for virtually any application.
Capacitance level controls measure the change in dielectric level between two points and can be used for a wide variety of liquid and solid materials. As the material rises, the air or gas normally surrounding the probe is displaced by a material having a higher dielectric constant. Controls of this type are offered in both off/on as well as continuous measurement versions.
Proximity level controls are used in non-contacting applications and depend on a change in dielectric constant as the level rises or falls.
Conductance level controls monitor the material being measured and typically generate contact closure or opening for purposes of control. Controls of this type are best suited to off/on control applications.
