Control Specialties makes a commitment to sustainable energy savings with the following initiatives:

• The primary purpose of our 2017 roofing project was to obtain significant energy savings.  The project included the use of an ENERGY STAR roofing system that reflects the sun’s heat and easily emits any absorbed solar heat.  Our research also indicated that 30% of landfill space is taken up with roofing waste.  This project has eliminated any landfill requirements in the future. 

• In 2018 we initiated a project to change all lighting in our facility to LED lighting systems and fixtures.  This project improved the quality and efficiency of both indoor and outdoor lighting as well as a substantial energy savings.

• To raise productivity and offer our customers 24/7 customer service, we have established an alternative workplace for our employees.  We have installed security equipment and protocols in our employees’ homes to ensure our customers receive the very best service and gave our employees an alternative workplace to devote less time and energy in a typical office routine and more time with their family.
