The Armstrong GD45 Direct Acting Pressure Reducing Valve is used in applications using steam, air, and non-corrosive gases.
The GD-45 is a compact, high-performance direct-acting valve. Inexpensive to buy and use, it is ideal for those moderate-flow applications that do not justify the higher cost of pilot-controlled valves. Has a highly resilient phosphor-bronze bellows-style diaphragm, hardened stainless steel working parts, an integral strainer (removable for cleaning) for protection from wear or dirt, and teflon gaskets used at all joints for improved leakage prevention.
