Armstrong Float & Thermostatic Steam Traps
Armstrong Float and Thermostatic (F&T) steam traps are mechanical units designed for applications requiring continuous condensate drainage and high-capacity air venting, particularly where steam pressure varies or is modulated. They operate on two principles: density (via a ball float for condensate) and temperature (via a thermostatic bellows for air).
