Granzow Series W Lead Free/NSF 61-G Slow Close, Potable Water Solenoid Valve is a 2-way, internally piloted, normally closed solenoid valve. This solenoid valve is available in pipe sizes from 3/4" to 1", operating pressure from 2-230psi and a 8W coil. These valves comply with the new 2014 Federal Reduction of Lead in Drinking Water Act. The solenoid valves are manufactured in Lead Free brass and special EPDM seals. A closing velocity control allows for manual adjustment of the valve's closing speed. This feature is especially helpful in preventing water hammer. A manual override also makes it possible to open the valve without energizing the coil which can be important in case of power failure.

The Series W Lead Free is similar in design to the standard W series, but this version features a valve body that has been manufactured in Lead Free brass and also has special EPDM seals.
