About BTU Meters

ISTEC's energy meters measure the energy used or transferred in a liquid system. Utilizing precision matched temperature sensors providing excellent differential accuracy and in-line flow meters with a very wide turndown, they provide the accurate data required to effectively trend energy usage and allocate cost. Energy is calculated by multiplying the temperature difference (∆T) between the supply and return lines by the volume of liquid. The result can be displayed in common units such as BTUs or kWhs.
