Their valves are manufactured to Military/Marine ASTM and MIL specifications. The Series 5800 is a compact design for tight fit applications. A small footprint, high efficiency design is typically supplied with high force piston actuators for steam, chemcials, and dirty fluids with high pressure drops. This design minimizes the potential for cavitation or flashing effects and temperature extremes.
