Webster HDRMB Burner utilizes a conventional firing head which is not susceptible to thermal shock and does not require an expensive air filter. The dual fuel design allows oil firing without changing the firing head or requiring other mechanical modifications. This reduces maintenance and improves reliability when switching between gas and oil operation. The HDRMB is available for ultra low NOx applications in capacities ranging from 125 to 2,500 boiler horsepower, and can fire a wide range of fuels, including: Natural, LP, and Bio Gases, as well as No. 2 Oil, Amber 363, or Low Sulfur Diesel for applications requiring a back-up fuel. Guaranteed emissions for the HDRMB are as low as 9ppm NOx and 50ppm CO when firing natural gas. The inherently low excess air operation and dual fuel capability of the HDRMB burner reduces fuel and energy usage and enhances boiler efficiency. Proven on hundreds of applications, the rapid mix burner technology provides reliable ultra low emissions. Combined with the well established performance of the Webster HD series burner platform, and the unique ability to fire gas or oil without any modifications to the burner, the HDRMB is the perfect choice for your ultra low NOx application.

The RMB technology separates itself from the other technologies commercially available with its low excess air design and dual fuel firing capabilities. The HDRMB utilizes Flue Gas Recirculation (FGR) to achieve low excess air requirements, typically operating at O2 stack levels between 3 - 4%. Compared to other designs that utilize a surface combustion head operating with 8 - 10% O2, the RMB design can improve boiler efficiency 3 - 3-½% by operating at lower excess air levels and reducing stack losses.
