Spirax Sarco 25PTE Pressure/Temperature Regulator with Electric Override has all the features of the 25PT Regulator, with the addition of an electric pilot which permits an electrical signal to override the temperature and pressure pilots. The valve meets Class IV shut-off specifications but not suitable for dead-end service. Standard capillary tubing lengths are 8ft and 15ft. The regulator should be installed in a horizontal line with suitable bypass and isolating valves. A steam trap should be installed upstream to prevent condensate from reaching the regulator. The trap and regulator should be protected with a strainer separator set. Typical Applications:
  • Pressure/Temperature control applications where the regulator must also respond to an electrical program timer, safety or limit switch or remote manual switch.

    Designed with the user in mind, the 25-Series offers versatility and simplicity. Seven pre-calibrated temperature ranges are interchangeable throughout the range. The 25-Series is available in sizes 1/2” to 6” with screwed and flanged connections. A typical application includes hot water storage where constant water temperatures must be maintained while providing protection against excess temperature.

    The ability to combine multiple pilots for dual control purposes provides a cost competitive solution.
