Spirax Sarco MST21 Thermostatic Steam Trap are a welded stainless steel element that self-adjust over the entire operating pressure range and will discharge condensate at approximately 18°F (10°C) below saturated steam temperature on the standard Fill trap. Up to 518°F (270°C) and water hammer can be tolerated by this trap. The MST21 can be disassembled for servicing. Trap may be installed in horizontal or vertical pipelines. Can be used on tracing, drips, sterilizers and a low capacity air vent.

Maximum allowable temperature: 752° F at 0 to 188 psig

Like the TSS300, the Spirax Sarco MST18 is a low capacity, low profile balanced pressure thermostatic steam tracer trap. The added benefit of the MST18 is the ability to service easily. The welded stainless steel capsule self adjusts to accommodate varying pressures.
The MST18 has been replaced by the MST21.
These are repairable stainless steel traps.
