ZIGHT Tempered Borosilicate Glass Cylinders are manufactured in 3.3 Borosilicate Glass and Fully Tempered, the glasses are used for optical control in lubrication devices and observation ports in 360° sight glasses.
Cylinders can be manufactured in any size, there are a number of sizes and dimensions typically used throughout the industry due to market standardization.

A Zight Tempered Cylinder is not only cut from an existing tube but also ground-square and polished to ensure a correct seal and facilitate assembly. Additionally, all the sight glasses and lubrication tubes are subjected to a tempering treatment which drastically improves their mechanical resistance characteristics, helping to avoid chipping and providing
increased durability and resistance to higher working pressures.
