Mueller Model 692MF Large Duplex Strainer
SERVICE RECOMMENDATIONS
These duplex strainers are designed for use in fluid handling systems where the flow cannot be shut down for basket cleaning such as cooling water, pumps, compressors, condensers, fire lines, fuel lines, lubricating systems, salt and fresh water systems, chemical process systems and positive suction head service.
FEATURES
These duplex strainers feature a single shaft drive to operate the flow diverter valves. Quick flow transfer requires less than 90 handle rotation; an automatic actuator is also available. There are no external linkages, sprockets, chains, cranks or wheels. The drive mechanism is completely enclosed, protected from line fluid erosion and corrosion. Valve discs, disc seals and seats are field replaceable. There is absolutely no leakage into the off duty chamber. Baskets are gasketed and securely positioned to prevent particle bypass. The large capacity baskets provide generous open area ratio. The single basket design is easily and quickly cleaned. See page E-3 for pressure drop information.

CONSTRUCTION
All body parts are cast metal (see materials below). All shafts are supplied in stainless steel. Valve seats are bronze. Standard basket material is stainless steel. Special materials and baskets are available on application. Covers are normally bolted. Clamped covers (limited to 150 PSI @ 100 F) are also available.
