A Trerice 940E Control Valve is a device capable of modulating clow at varying degrees between minimal flow and full capacity in response to a signal from an external control device. The control valve, often referred to as ”the final control element”, is a critical part of any control loop, as it performs the physical work and is the element that directly affects the process.
A control valve is comprised of an actuator moutned t a valve. The valve modulates flow through movement of a valve plug in relation to the port(s) located within the valve body. The valve plus is attached to a valve stem, which, in turn, is connected to the actuator. The actuator, which can be pneumatically or electrically operated, directs the movement of the stem as dictated by the external control device.
The Trerice 940E series is a direct acting electric actuated control valve which is designed for high performance within industrial, demanding HVAC and commercial process applications.
The Trerice 940E series has proportional control action for heavy duty applications. It comes in either bronze, cast iron, or stainless steel with equal percentage modified linear trim styles. They come in either single seat, double seat or three way design.
